Naval architect, FPSO/FSO offshore and in yard surveyor

Description

14 years experience in ship design, construction, maintenance and operations in the following industries:

FPSO/FSO - 8 years surveying and defining repair and maintenance plans including offshore, in operation, surveys and tank inspections.  Working to class requirements.  Reviewing and providing guidance for RAT (rope access technicians) during class and owner surveys.

Superyachts - I designed in AutoCAD the construction drawings needed to convert a shipping vessel into a luxury yacht.  Stability and strength calculations carried out in accordance with class requirements.

Naval ships and TSSBN submarines (UK security cleared) - I was responsible for ensuring the overhaul and replacement of hydraulic valve systems for the functioning of ballistic missile launch systems.
