Project Engineer

I am interested in applying for any position available which is suited to my
educational background and qualifications.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. My
coursework focused on thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, marine engineering
design and ship design principles. I worked for 3 years as a Project Engineer
at Dansyco Shipyard and I’ve been working as a freelance ship designer for
the past 6 months.
My experience includes working with computer aided design software,
Autodesk AutoCAD software. It also includes creating the design for different
types of ships, helping in the development of prototypes and running risk
analysis to determine the strength and stability of each design.
I have the ability to determine the best materials needed to create the
designs. I also have the ability to create blueprints and schematics with
detailed specifications for the workers to use when building the ships and to
act as consultant during the construction of vessels to ensure workers are
following the blueprints correctly.
My qualification includes good communication skills with the ability to explain
the details of the designs to company representatives and construction
workers. I also have excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
and I know and comply with all safety regulations associated with the design
of each vessel. I am hard working, self-motivated and ready to put my
education and skills to work for your company.
