Purchasing Manager

Purchasing / Specification Manager
Description

I am looking for Purchasing positions anywhere in the world.  I have worked off-shore hitches and enjoy this type of work.

Please see my cover letter below for more details.

Dear Hiring Manager:
Thank you for your time reviewing my purchasing and procurement resume.
While Purchasing and Supply Chain logistics is my passion, management is my bread and butter. Keeping on top of projects and making sure all parts get to the finish line at the same time is one thing I do best.
I built my career in the military and as a defense contractor, specializing in the material logistics field.  But I am also a great leader, office manager, and level - headed team player.
While known as a Purchasing expert, I am actually the “go-to manager ” who always answers all of the questions and the one who jumps in feet first and gets the job done.  My focus is always on customer satisfaction and all of my actions revolve around this tenet of management as well as long-term relationships.
I am not only accustomed to wearing many hats, I sincerely enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where no two workdays are exactly the same.
In addition to being flexible and responsive, I am also a fanatic for details – particularly when it comes to Purchasing Management.
In the last few years, I challenged every Supply Chain constraint concerning purchasing inventory and new material procurement from vendors worldwide. I improved Ship to Confirmation, Ship to Receipt, and Net Core Material Productivity by 30% as the Purchasing Manager at Trelleborg Marine Systems.
I am looking for a position where my contributions count and my efforts are appreciated – and a long-term commitment.
Thank you for your time,
