-Developed NY Harbor physical supply operation for OW bunker that gained 10% market share and made up to $500K/mo of net profit.
-Successfully began consulting business to assist bunker buyers and sellers including OW Bunker and Addax Bunkering Services. Positive profit every year including 2009 startup year.
-Purchased over $100M of bunkers annually.
-Developed fuel purchase financing program to enable offshore bunker sales by company tankers. Net revenue after financing near $10M/year.
-Initiated fuel hedging program saving up to $7M/year
-Consistently achieved average $/mt fuel prices well below industry benchmarks.
-Operated USA to Russia grain and reefer trades, S. America to Far East squid trade, Russia to Americas non ferrous metal and fertilizer trades.
-Designed MS Excel spreadsheet which reported; voyage history, loading and discharge information and voyage financial results.
-Scheduled a 40+ ship fleet to fulfill worldwide freight contracts.
-Forecast vessel transportation schedules three to twelve months in advance to ensure vessel supply and cargo transportation demand remained balanced.
-Worked with insurance brokers, Lloyd’s Register, A.B.S., USCG and other maritime agencies and bureaucracies to demonstrate all vessel regulatory requirements were met and to obtain vessel operating certificates.
