Description

Summary: Veteran seeking to transfer skills to the diesel field. Interested in working on trucks and buses, equipment, generators or marine.

        Setting up marine transmissions/driveshafts.

        Replacing suspension components, brakes and alignments.

        Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits, replacing pumps and hoses.

        Ability to do basic heavy truck and engine preventative maintenance.  

        Removing/Installing heavy truck transmissions.

        Knowledge of how to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.

        Experience with periodic maintenance schedules and record keeping.

        Basic welding Arc, MIG, Oxy-acetylene.

        Possess basic tool set.

        Troubleshoot exhaust and emissions problems on latest tier 4 diesel equipment.
