Alfa Laval's Pumping Systems to Support Seagreen Wind Farm Installation

Alfa Laval has won a deal to supply Framo pumping systems for the foundations at Seagreen offshore wind farm, Scotland's largest offshore wind farm project."It is the second order for pumping systems in this application and marks an important milestone as it applies the company's extensive experience from the offshore industry to renewable energy applications," Sweden-based Alfa Laval said.The order was placed by Italy-based Saipem, a global leader in engineering, drilling, and construction in the energy and infrastructure sectors which was last year awarded an installation contract

Alfa Laval Gets Ready for USCG Type-approval

Alfa Laval remains on track to submit a US Coast Guard (USCG) type approval application for Alfa Laval PureBallast 3.1 in the coming weeks. The company has successfully completed all required land-based tests using the current system design.   Alfa Laval is maintaining its ambitious timetable for USCG type approval in ballast water treatment. Alfa Laval to Supply North Sea Platform Freshwater Generator

Alfa Laval says it has won an order from the Korean company Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for a freshwater generator module for an offshore oil platform in the North Sea. Alfa Laval Wins North Sea Oil Platform Equipment Contract

Providers of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling systems, Alfa Laval says it has won an order to supply equipment to an offshore oil platform in the North Sea. The order has a value of approximately SEK 50 million and delivery is scheduled for 2014.
