Wood Group Secures Apache's Subsea MSA Deal Extention

Wood Group has been awarded an extension to its master service agreement (MSA) contract with Apache Corporation in the North Sea. Wood Group will continue to deliver subsea engineering and consultancy services, in support of Apache's routine operation and maintenance works, as well as detailed engineering for future subsea developments across its entire North Sea portfolio; the Forties and Beryl areas, Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) pipeline and the onshore SAGE facility at St Fergus. TWMA Bags £1.5 mln North Sea Contract with Apache

Bibby Wins Apache North Sea Contract

Bibby Offshore, a subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has announced a contract win with Apache North Sea Ltd to provide subsea construction, ROV and diving services at the largest oil field in the North Sea. The contract, due to begin this month, will utilise Bibby Offshore’s multi-role diving support vessel the Bibby Topaz, equipped with an inspection class ROV. N.Sea Forties Echo Accident Investigation Ongoing

An investigation into the extent of any damage caused to the Forties Echo platform in the North Sea is still underway, a spokesman for operator Apache North Sea said on Tuesday.   The platform, which is in the British section of the North Sea, was struck by a supply vessel on Monday morning, triggering emergency procedures including a shutdown of production.   The spokesman was unable to give a restart date for production, saying it would depend on the outcome of the investigation.
