Cavotec Oil Platform Drag Chain Order Sets Company Record
Cavotec has won its largest single order in the oil and gas segment in its history. The Group is to supply, install, test and commission stainless steel drag chains as part of an extensive upgrade of a Statoil oil platform in the North Sea. Cavotec’s customer for the project – the Gullfaks B Drilling Upgrade – is Aibel, a leading engineering, construction, upgrading and maintenance service provider in the oil, gas and renewable energy sector.
