
Polarcus Awarded Middle East Project
Marine geophysical firm Polarcus Limited announced it has won a contract from Dubai Petroleum Establishment for a combined towed streamer and ocean bottom node (OBN) 3D seismic acquisition and processing project in the Middle East.The project will commence in the first quarter of 2019 and run for approximately three months. The towed streamer seismic will be acquired by the vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov. The OBN acquisition services for the project will be provided by fellow seismic data acquisition company SAE Exploration.Polarcus said the core of its fleet is heavily booked in the first quarter of 2019

Dubai Petroleum & Offshore Autonomous Inspection
As part of a framework agreement with Dubai Petroleum, Cyberhawk was appointed to inspect more than 350 risers on 63 offshore platforms. The inspection took only one month to complete, followed by the production of over 90 detailed engineering inspection reports. The rationale behind Dubai Petroleum’s use of UAVs was to quickly complete detailed inspections of all their risers. ISS Inks Service Pact with Technip
Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) and Techniphave signed a contract to provide marine agency services and logistics for the Rashid C project in the Middle East. Currently under offshore execution by Technip for Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE), ISS will provide a range of services for the Rashid C project including port agency, crew transfer, visa assistance and cargo services. ISS’ support for offshore logistics is expected to run throughout the rest of 2015 and into the first quarter of 2016 including a dedicated marine operations team member based at Technip’s operations
SPE Awards DNV GL For Its Contribution To Asset Integrity

Dubai Petroleum Install 2H Offshore Tripod Platform
2H Offshore, an Acteon company, was appointed by Dubai Petroleum (DP) to deliver an intensive, fast track design of an ultra-lightweight conductor supported tripod platform, which has now been installed. The tripod platform, known as T-02, has been successfully installed in the Fateh field, offshore Dubai in 50m water depth. The platform consists of a minimal topside and subsea structure and hosts an exploration well during an upcoming drilling and well test campaign. Substantial Middle East Subsea Contract for Technip
Technip say they have been awarded a contract by Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE) covering the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the Jalilah B field development project, located nearly 90 kilometers offshore Dubai (United Arab Emirates, UAE), at water depth reaching 60 meters. Technip’s scope of work consists of the construction and installation of the Jalilah B platform, a 900-ton deck, a 500-ton jacket, as well as 13 new risers(2) on existing platforms. It also includes the installation of 110 kilometers of pipelines ranging from 6 to 24 inches in diameter.
