Sapura Commences Production at B15 Gas Field

a maiden gas development project for Sapura E&P and the first gas milestone was achieved within two years of the sanction of its Field Development Plan (FDP). The B15 field was discovered in December 2010 and is located within the SK310 Production Sharing Contract (PSC) area, offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia. EMGS secures Malaysia Contract

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) confirmed that a firm contract has been entered into with an oil company in Malaysia. This contract confirms the provisional agreement announced in the stock exchange notice of 1 November 2016. As previously announced, this contract extension is worth approximately USD 8 million. The agreement relates to a 3D EM data acquisition offshore Sabah, East Malaysia. The vessel BOA Thalassa will perform the survey which is estimated to take approximately two months with an expected completion date early January 2017.

Nordic Maritime Lands 3D Seismic Contract

Nordic Maritime said its seismic vessel S/V Nordic Bahari, which recently completed a 2,500 line km 2D marine seismic data acquisition and processing services in East Malaysia's Sarawak T3 Block, for Pexco Sarawak N.V., will start the acquisition of approximately 420 sq.km by the end of May with support from chase vessel M/V Viking Vanguard. The project is expected to be completed by July.
