McDermott Scoops Contract for CCS Project Offshore Malaysia

Offshore engineering and construction firm McDermott has been awarded a contract from Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) for the Kasawari Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project, located offshore Sarawak in East Malaysia.Under the scope of the contract, McDermott will perform transportation and the structural installation of a 138-kilometer (85 miles) pipeline section, a 15,000 metric tonne (MT) CCS platform jacket, and bridge connecting to the existing central processing platform.The installation activities will be performed by one of McDermott's heavy-lift and pipelay vessels."Set

Sapura Commences Production at B15 Gas Field

EMGS secures Malaysia Contract

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) confirmed that a firm contract has been entered into with an oil company in Malaysia. This contract confirms the provisional agreement announced in the stock exchange notice of 1 November 2016. As previously announced, this contract extension is worth approximately USD 8 million. The agreement relates to a 3D EM data acquisition offshore Sabah, East Malaysia. The vessel BOA Thalassa will perform the survey which is estimated to take approximately two months with an expected completion date early January 2017.  

Barakah Offshore Wins Petronas Subsea Work

Nordic Maritime Lands 3D Seismic Contract

seismic data acquisition and processing services in collaboration with ELNUSA for Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited, Offshore Indonesia. Nordic Maritime said its seismic vessel S/V Nordic Bahari, which recently completed a 2,500 line km 2D marine seismic data acquisition and processing services in East Malaysia's Sarawak T3 Block, for Pexco Sarawak N.V., will start the acquisition of approximately 420 sq.km by the end of May with support from chase vessel M/V Viking Vanguard. The project is expected to be completed by July.
