Rentocean to Supply Van Oord 300T Onshore Turntable

RentOcean, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has been awarded a contract to supply Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects BV a 3000t demountable onshore turntable system and accompanying equipment for a long-term storage project.
 The turntable and additional equipment will be used for storage of cables at Eemshaven, The Netherlands for the Gemini Offshore Wind Farm. This will be one of the largest wind farms in the world in terms of size and production. It will be built in the Dutch part of the North Sea, 85 km north of the coast of Groningen.

Oceaneering Exercise Charter Options on DP2 CSV

Oceanteam Shipping ASA says that Oceaneering International, Inc. has exercised both one year options on the CSV 'Bourbon Oceanteam 101' up to February 2017. The vessel will continue its field support services for work offshore Angola on blocks 18 and 31.
 Upon delivery in December 2007, this DP2 Construction Support Vessel has been operating as a field support vessel with BP Angola for the company's Greater Plutonium Field development (in Block 18). Norway-based Offshore shipping company, Oceanteam Shipping ASA, highlights results in the first quarter of 2014 and draws attention to a Mexico J/V  with PEMEX. Revenue from operations USD 15.1 million for the quarter. EBITDA from operations is positive USD 6.7 million for the quarter. Operating profit of USD 4.2 million. Net finance negative USD 3.7 million. CSV Southern Ocean is 100 percent consolidated from the first quarter due to change in control effective from 2014. RentOcean Gets Repeat Carousel System Order

RentOcean, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has been awarded a contract to supply LS Cable - a leading supplier of a wide range of industrial specialty cables - a second 4000t modular carousel system and accompanying equipment for a long-term project. 
 The carousel and additional equipment will be used for the transportation of 2 x 50km of power cables from the LS cable plant in Donghae, South Korea to the project port of Doha, Qatar, which will take place in 2014 and 2015. Oceanteam inform that DOT Shipping will focus on providing high-end vessel solutions for the Mexican market. Oceanteam J/V Gets E.ON Subsea Cable Storage Contract

Oceanteam Shipping ASA - Joint Venture Oceanwind based in the Netherlands, say they have been awarded a long term contract to supply E.ON Climate & Renewables with port facilities, offloading and storage of cables. The offloading of the first cables has already been successfully finalized at OceanWind's cable facilities in Velsen Noord, The Netherlands. The cables were transferred from the vessel into a 750T RentOcean carousel. RentOcean Delivers Carousel for Middle East Subsea Cable Project

RentOcean, a subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has delivered a certified 4000t modular carousel system for the transportation of 2 x 50km of power cables from the LS cable plant in Donghae, South Korea to the project port of Doha, Qatar and for laying the cables. RentOcean will also supply tensioning equipment and a lay train. The project is due to take place in 2014 and 2015. The carousel will be transported to Ulsan mid-January 2014 for build up at LS Cable's key side.
