Tenaris to Supply 46,000 Tons of Pipe for Turkey's Giant Offshore Gas Field

Boskalis Wins Subsea Contract at Tyra Gas Field

N.V. has been awarded the Tyra Redevelopment Subsea Installation Phase II contract by Total E&P Denmark.The sizable contract includes subsea engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation for the Tyra Redevelopment project in order to extend the operational lifetime of the Tyra offshore gas field by at least 25 years.Boskalis will provide a broad range of specialist subsea contracting activities for relocating and connecting subsea pipelines as well as the installation of manifolds, vertical platform production risers and umbilicals. Aker Solutions Wins Order at Zohr Offshore Gas Field

Aker Solutions won a contract to deliver its longest-ever umbilicals system at the Zohr offshore gas field in the Egyptian part of the Mediterranean Sea. The agreement with Petrobel in Egypt is worth more than NOK 1 billion and will be booked in the second quarter. It stipulates the delivery of 180 kilometers of steel tube umbilicals that will connect the Zohr subsea development to an offshore control platform. Israeli finds Another Large Offshore Gas Field

  An Israeli exploration group reported on Sunday it has discovered another large natural gas field off Israel's Mediterranean coast. The group, led by Isramco Negev and Modiin Energy, said that a resource report showed there could be an estimated total of 8.9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas at the Daniel east and west fields.
