RentOcean, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has been awarded a contract to supply Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects BV a 3000t demountable onshore turntable system and accompanying equipment for a long-term storage project. The turntable and additional equipment will be used for storage of cables at Eemshaven, The Netherlands for the Gemini Offshore Wind Farm. RentOcean Gets Repeat Carousel System Order
RentOcean, a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has been awarded a contract to supply LS Cable - a leading supplier of a wide range of industrial specialty cables - a second 4000t modular carousel system and accompanying equipment for a long-term project. The carousel and additional equipment will be used for the transportation of 2 x 50km of power cables from the LS cable plant in Donghae, South Korea to the project port of Doha, Qatar, which will take place in 2014 and 2015. RentOcean to Supply New Plug-&-Play Carousel
Oceanteam informs that its subsidiary RentOcean has been awarded a contract by WIND BV to supply a certified 1500t modular carousel system and a 10t tensioner for a 90-day project in the Safaniya oil field. RentOcean explain that the carousel and additional equipment will be used to transport cables for the Safaniya oil field for McDermott. The transport will take place in summer 2014. RentOcean Delivers Carousel for Middle East Subsea Cable Project
RentOcean, a subsidiary of Oceanteam Shipping ASA, says it has delivered a certified 4000t modular carousel system for the transportation of 2 x 50km of power cables from the LS cable plant in Donghae, South Korea to the project port of Doha, Qatar and for laying the cables. RentOcean will also supply tensioning equipment and a lay train. The project is due to take place in 2014 and 2015.
