Upgrade to Deliver Capacity Increase Utilizing TE SubCom’s C100U+ Technology   Undersea communications technology company TE SubCom has signed a contract to perform its third network upgrade to the South-East Asia Japan Cable (SJC) System. Utilizing TE SubCom’s latest 100 Gb/s coherent transmission technology (C100U+), this third upgrade increases the capacity by 6.3 Tb/s.   The SJC System links Brunei, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines.
