ATLAS MARIDAN to Offer AUV Rental Services

ATLAS MARIDAN ApS. of Rungsted Kyst (Denmark), a subsidiary of the German naval systems supplier ATLAS ELEKTRONIK, has launched an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) rental service. The opportunity to rent ATLAS ELEKTRONIK’s latest unmanned underwater technology shall support customers within the offshore oil and gas, renewable energy, UxO and naval markets.   The AUV SeaCat has recently finalized its serial maturity process and concluded certifications covering a wide range of requirements for system robustness, environmental conditions, navigational accuracy and transport safety.

Delmar Systems Acquires InterOcean Systems

Supplier of offshore mooring and subsea services Delmar Systems, Inc. announced it has expanded its products and services with the acquisition of privately owned InterOcean Systems, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of oceanographic and environmental equipment and systems, including its proprietary Rig Anchor Release (RAR), acoustic technology and releases, METOC buoys, current meters, transponders, transducers, hydrophones, subsea winches, and other specialized equipment including its proprietary remote oil spill detection system – Slick Sleuth.   InterOcean Systems will continue to

Mooring Components Ordered for Floating Wind Park

Statoil has signed a contract with offshore chains and mooring systems supplier Vicinay Marine for the design, manufacture and deliver mooring components for the world’s first floating offshore wind park, the Hywind pilot park offshore Scotland. Under the terms of the deal, Vicinay Marine will provide the mooring chains and connectors for the Hywind project, to be delivered at place in Scotland with in 2016. Venezuela Picks Falcon ROV for Dam Inspection
