Solstad Offshore Secures Contract with Technip

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) says it has entered into a frame agreement with Technip Norge AS and Technip UK Limited (Technip) to supply vessels for trenching, construction and subsea services. The deal’s commercial terms have not been disclosed. The frame agreement, which is valid for 2016-2018, will enable Technip to utilize Normand Progress, Normand Pioneer, Normand Ranger and Normand Mariner. Vard Wins Farstad's OSCV Contract

. It is arranged for two ROVs (Remote Operating Vehicles) and features a 150 ton active heave compensated offshore crane. The vessel was designed by Vard Design in Ålesund, Norway, in close cooperation with Farstad and Technip. Farstad has been awarded a five year framework agreement by Technip Norge for delivery of ROV support operations, light construction work, IMR and other subsea related activities, which will be fulfilled with this newbuild vessel. Farstad to Perform Subsea Support for Technip

Farstad Shipping ASA has been awarded a five-year framework agreement by Technip Norge AS for delivery of ROV support operations, light construction work, IMR and other subsea related activities.   The agreement gives Technip the right to utilize the vessel up to 320 days per year, and to extend the contract with a further up to five-year period. Kværner to Play Part in Construction of Enormous Offshore Spar Platform

Norway's Kværner ASA say that Technip Norge AS has awarded them a sub-contract for the Fjord Base and Support Services up-ending and preparation for mating operations of the sub-structure for the Aasta Hansteen Spar platform.
