Hydroid Hires Two New Employees

Hydroid Inc., a Pocasset-based, manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), announced the addition Dan Conti and Maureen Kelly.

Dan Conti has joined Hydroid as a Field Technician. Conti brings four years’ experience performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on more than 70 avionic systems on the Navy’s P-3C Orion anti-submarine patrol aircraft. He has experience working on a very wide variety of systems, including inertial navigation units, satellite communication systems and advanced sonar communication systems. At Hydroid, Conti will be responsible for the testing, evaluation, repair and maintenance of the REMUS 100, 600 and 6000 vehicles. He will also train Hydroid customers on the operation, maintenance and data interpretation for their REMUS vehicles.

Maureen Kelly has joined Hydroid as a Customer Service Manager. Kelly has over 20 years’ customer service experience with manufacturing and service firms, including Kao Infosystems, Globalware Solutions and Convention Data Services, where she managed client services, project management and business integration for U.S. and international clients. Her focus at Hydroid will be on client communication, improving processes and client training programs. Kelly is a graduate of Tufts University and holds an MBA from Boston University.
