2nd Engineer

Description

 I am a Professional marine engineer and have been in the Merchant Navy for over 40 years, I possess a Chief Engineer License 111/2 (Ltd). I have worked for various major shipping companies with varied cargo’s and transportation aspects. 

My previous employment was with (Swire Pacific Ship Management Ltd) and this company is based in Singapore and I worked for them for 10 years as a second

engineer. Their business is offshore supply and anchor handling for the oil and gas industry.

I have a wealth of experience in many different aspects of marine engineering. I am looking for a new challenge within the industry and increased diversity within the

marine oil and gas business.

I have been working as a 2 Engineer in the Offshore Shipping side for the Oil & Gas Industry for over 16 years on  DP1 & DP2 AHTS, MPV, PSV, Survey / Workboat and a vessel(Pacific Retriever)  converted to DSV with my previous recent company I was employed with was “Swire Pacific Ship Management”-Singapore(May 2002 – May 2012) where I  gained a lot of experience and trainings over my 10 years of service sailing as a 2 Engineer Officer.

I have acquired recently a DP Maintenance Certificate (K-Pos) from EMAS Training Centre(Singapore) and have sailed on DP(DP 1,2 &3) vessels frequently.

I have just also acquired a renewal of my Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Operations at the CTSI College in Manila Philippines, as I have many years of Tanker experience with many major oil companies.

I have also recently gained experience working onboard as a 2 Engineer on a 4-Leg Jack-Up OSV(DP) Multi-Purpose self propelled work/accomadation barge vessel for Petrofac/ENI Morecombe Bay Asset in UK waters, and most recently worked onboard a DP3 Pipelay / Construction vessel.

From June 2015 to  January 2018 I was employed with Maersk Line Container company and sailed on various large vessels worldwide and since March 2018 i left Maersk and I took semi-retirement have not been re-employed at this time but wish and hope very much now to get back in employment.

I am very eager and determined to further my career with new challenges and to be part of any new ventures and be part of the team in a new company to attain my goals in my life and future, I’m very motivated and determined and wish very much to be considered for employment within your company and organization.
