Currently as 2 Engineer Officer on a layup Drilling Rig

My last vessel was a Chief Engineer in charge of all machinery onboard

With more than 18 Years’ experience earned in MECHANICAL/MARINE ENGINEERING from big International and local Companies ,such as SAFMARINE (SOUTH AFRICA) ,MAERSK LINE (DENMARK) RK-OFFSHORE (SINGAPORE) DEBMARINE(NAMIBIA) from management ,safety officer, environmental officer.

Knowledge of SAP

I have good experience in Environment, safety, Risk, assessments/Job analysis and MARPOL.

Experience in the following Diesel/Alternator engines: WARTSILA RT-FLEX OSD,  MAN B&W,  CUMMINS, CATEPILLAR, ROLLS-ROYCE,  PIELSTIK,  DETROIT DIESEL ,NIIGATA, YANMAR, VOLVO PENTA, SULZER, GENERAL ELECTRIC,  PERKINS, HATZ ,DEUTZ and MOTOREN-WERKE-MANNHEIM ,

Electric driven propeller,(AZIMUTH Thrusters, Retractable Thrusters)

Vast experience on these TYPES OF PUMPS  ,Weir ,Sulzer,  ABS, Grundfos, Griswold, Alpha Laval, Kelso, Mouvex, Sabre, Southern Cross, Wilden, Orange as well as Spandau

Operation of electronic control board for VSD’s, generators synchronization, pumps purifiers engine management, crankshaft positioning and fuel measuring units for improved fuel consumption when engine is idling.
