  M/V TOLUNAY (BULK CARRIER) 3 ENG IMO 9085675

  • Overhauled main engine (change main bearing, crank pin bearing, cylinder liners, piston rings, exhaust valves, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, air starting valves, bottom end bearing);
  • Overhauled two diesel generators;
  • Overhauled all fuel pumps( booster pumps, circulating pumps, transfer pumps);
  • Overhauled ballast pumps and valves;
  • Overhauled sea water pumps;
  • Took part in the process of repairing turbocharger for M.E.;
  • Repaired turbocharger for D.G.;
  • Repaired F.O., D.O., L.O. separators;
  • Overhauled air compressor;
  • Repaired all valves for boiler and adjusted safety valves;
  • Checked deflection crank shaft for M.E. and D.G;
  • Changed and repaired all overboard valves;
  • Prepared spare cylinder heads, fuel pumps, fuel injectors for M.E. and D.G.;
  • Cleaned all tanks in engine room;
  • Repaired fresh water generator,
  • Cleaned all heat exchangers,
  • Changed scavenge air cooler for M.E.;
  • Was responsible for bunkering operations;
  • Did routine maintenance of M.E., D.G., pumps and all service systems.

  • took part in the process of repairing and maintaining of the main engine
  • ballast system repairing, pipe line flanges and non-return valves changing, cleaning of fuel tanks and dip pipes
  • cleaned bilge separators
  • cleaned the engine room
  • painted engine room
  • helped and sometimes even changed welder and fitter
  • maintained technical equipment due to the producing plant rules and instructions
  • did repairing and preventive maintenance of the technical equipment
  • learnt how to use emergency signal system, safety equipment, firefighting equipment of the engine room
