Operational management of fleet, crew and cargo dispatch.  Voyage and cargo load planning.  Work closely with customers on fuel and freight delivery needs.  Maintain audit compliance of SMS.

CAPTAIN, RUBY MARINE; NENANA, ALASKA - 2007-2014

Responsible for fuel and freight deliveries to villages throughout western Alaska. Management of vessel, crew and trip logistics.   All types of ship yard work on tugs and barges.   Maintain vessel for COI.

MATE TO CAPTAIN, YUTANA BARGE LINES; NENANA, ALASKA — 1997-2006

Responsible for fuel and freight deliveries to villages throughout western Alaska.  Management of vessel, crew and trip logistics.   Shallow draft operations.

OTHER SHORT TERM EMPLOYMENT OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS

Delta Western- Working in Dutch Harbor as Tankerman fueling fishing trawler fleet.


Cruz Construction- Working on the North Slope of Alaska as fueler for remote ice road construction & exploratory drilling project.  As well as Cruz Marine in Cook Inlet doing oil company support.

Star Marine- Captain of tug Redwood City. We were assisting General Construction in their building of the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington’s Puget Sound.   This work was quite varied, everything from dredging/dump barges, dive floats, concrete pumping barges, derrick barges, anchor pulling and placing.   Towing astern and pushing ahead various tows.
