As Master I was responsible for running my ship to my owner’s requirements including the performance of the ship and adherence to charter party requirements, safety of the ship, crew and cargo, ensuring the ship is at all times ready for inspection by external parties including oil major vetting and PSC. I was responsible for compliance with International Agreements such as MARPOL / SOLAS / STCW. On sales of all VLCCs to DHT Holdings transferred to Goodwood Ship Managment, Singapore 2017 to 2018.
