Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering Management graduated (Cum Laude and on Dean List every year in attendance) 2011,Grantham University
  • Honorably discharged VFW (USN 93-97/ 97-01; Active/Reservist)
  • Licensed Chief Engineer (limited-Oceans)
  1. Chief Engineer OSV 10,000 ITC
  2. 1st Assistant Engineer unlimited turbine and motor
  3. ETO
  • Highly motivated and diversified professional in general engineering maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. As well as replacement of gas turbines and diesel power plants systems and the implementation of the programs associated with these systems
  • Experienced in using logic and analysis to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Experienced in determining the cause of operating errors and deciding the type of tools, equipment, and time necessary to complete a job. As well as communication with equipment vendors to reduce cost of repairs in regards to time and parts acquisitions
  • Skilled at monitoring gauges, dials and other indicators to assure equipment, long-term and safe, operation in both an open and closed loop automation systems 
  • Vast knowledge and experience testing lube oils and fuel oils
  • Twenty five plus years’ experience in Power Plant operation, fifteen of those years in a management position
  • Dependable and well organized
  • Excellent communication skills in writing work related documents
  • Positively adjusts to changes in the work environment
  • Continuously striving for self-improvement, through continuing education and upgrading/updating certifacations
  • Experience in ISO 9000-9001 and ISM program management
  • Supervised and assessed job performance of 6-10, other chief engineers, 3AE/2AE engineers and other plant personnel from 2001-present
  • Regularly volunteer myself to work in my community through Church related or Lodge related charities. 
  • Experience in oil spill cleanup, including the use of donuts, booms, oilpads and skimmers
  • Active Member of SAE international
  • Held secret security clearance for research and development contracting
  • Small business owner; 2011-Present (Research and development LLC)
    • Company holds Utility Grade patent in Emergency Fuel Distribution
    • Co-wrote a whitepaper on alternative energy sources
