Temporary C/E (one trip only) on Horizon Geobay, research / drill DP2 vessel, with 2 Caterpillar & 2 Mitsubishi Engines, total power: 6000 kW (8050 HP).

Responsible for safety operation and maintenance on over the vessel. PMS – TM Master.

CAL DIVE INTERNATIONAL 

Position                          Chief Engineer                    Jun 2015 – June 2015

C/E on Uncle John, DSV DP2 Semi submersible with 5 x Caterpillar, 9125 kW (12249 HP), 2 x CPP Thrusters, 4 x Tunnel Thrusters & 2 x Nozzle Thrusters with high voltage 6 kV. Responsible for the technical management of the vessel including DP system.

Use PMS: NS5.

End of the contract due to the Cal Dive bankruptcy .

C/E on OOS Gretha, Crane DP3 7 generation semi-submersible; M/E, 8 x MAN B&W, 30880 kW (41411 HP) and 4 x Azimuth Thrusters (Thrustmaster). Two Huisman Cranes OMC, 3600 tones; operating in Brazil. Responsible for safety operation and maintenance of all the vessel required by PMS TM Master.

Skills

I have 41 plus years of maritime engineering experience. Over 22 years of this is offshore/oilfield/maritime experience as Chief Engineer (9 years on DP DSV, 7 years on AHTS, PSV & 2 years on Drill, Semi-sub and Jack up rigs, and 3 years on Construction/Flotel) and experience on new building offshore vessels in China. 

I have an ability to work safely and efficiently, without direct supervision, use initiative to solve difficult problems and work well as a member of multi skilled team.  

I am expert with PMS maintenance programs TM-Master, Maximo, Star IPS and AMOS. Work permits and risk assessments used on a daily basis.
