SUMMARY

A Lithuanian deep sea going first class ( 3000 kW and more) chief engineer,58 with 26 years seagoing experience and 9 years experience in ship repair yard on different ranks with promotions.  My acquirements can be put right away in shipping industry to good use in achieving companies’ business goals.

I have a full set of up to dated papers for chief engineer in my Lithuanian format and    CeC, which valid until 31-Dec-2016.

I have 7 years experience in offshore industry on different types of boats: ERRV,MRV and PSV, mostly on DP1 and last few trips were on DP2,just this ship was used in DP1 mode. During one year I was worked on newly built diesel electrical boat ( Vos Innovator).She was really a ship of new generation . It was excellent time for me such as I spent a lot of time for learning and familiarization with this ship.

KEY  SKILLS  AND  EXPERIENCE

Operating, maintenance and repairing different type of a ships’ and particularly propulsion units with point of view as ship chief engineer, ship repair yard engineer and yard’s technical manager .Working in ship repair yard I gained experience in detecting defects, preparing drawings and other technical documentation, experience in management workshop with 240 skilled workers, handling whole range of technical matters  ship repair yard level, intercommunication with contractors and shore service companies.  As chief engineer I work on   different type of vessels include reefers ,bulkers,Ro-Ro Pax, ocean tugs, ports’ tugs, stand-by vessels, MRV,PSV, AHTS, etc.

 Working as head manager of limited liability company I had treat company’s activity in the light of profitability, was focused not on current problems only, but on long-term outlook too.

Speak fluent in English, Lithuanian, Russian and Polish.

I feel confident working in multicultural and multilingual environments.

My hobby is history of religions, first of all abrahamic ones.

EMPLOYMENT  HISTORY

2013 -  2014    Viking Ship Supply ,Ltd, Chief engineer on PSV on the old one and a new one boats.

2007 – 2013    Vroon offshore services, Chief engineer on ERRV,MRV and Platform supply vessels. 

                         I have gained a good experience on newly built diesel electrical boat Innovator.                                    

                         She was a really a new generation and concept of ships.

2000 –  2007   Deep Seagoing and offshore first class chief engineer with full set of up-to-dated

                        papers according  to STCW 95.    

1991 – 1999    Head manager of Limited Liability Company in .

1982 – 1991    Ship Repair Yard in on range of ranks with promotions: foreman, head 

                        of a workshop, designing engineer, chief of a technical department, Yard’s

                        technical manager.  

 1975 – 1982   Large Fishing Trawlers Company in as 4­­, 3,2and chief  engineer.

EDUCATION  HISTORY

2008 – 2009     Lloyd’s  in , distance learning in Ship  Superintendancy

1976 – 1982     Kaliningrad Technical University in : ship propulsions’ design, technology and

                         production engineer, Master’s Degree.

1971 – 1975     Klaipeda Marine  College in : ship engineer.
