Chief Radio Electronics Technician

Install and de-installation of GFE out of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MARPs). Vehicles C4ISR systems such as: Blue Force Tracker (BTF), DAGR, VIC-3 Systems, DVE systems, AN/PSC-5 (SATCOM), AN/PRC-148, VAU, AN/PRC 117F/G, AN/PRC-152, MBITR, DAMA Made sure that all items GFE and CCI were inspected agriculture and custom, and ready to be shipped prior to their departure date Properly account for, store, issue, and inventory, destroy and safeguard COMSEC material

Performs installation and de-installation of tactical communication systems in various tactical combat vehicles. Performs direct and general support (DS/GS) level maintenance and repair on special electronic devices, including, but not limited to: night vision equipment, receiver transmitters and global positioning systems Proficient in the instruction regarding the installation, operation and deployment of FM, AM, VHF, UHF, and SHF radio communication systems to transmit and receive radio messages in voice, continuous wave (CW), and burst code radio nets. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of detachment tactical and operational communications and communication equipment. Organized, trained, advised and supervised indigenous and allied personnel in the installation, utilization and operation of radio equipment, radio nets, standard and expedient antenna systems and wire communications. Lead instruction on the deployment, installation, operation and maintenance of communications equipment during Subject Matter Expert training events. Repair radio equipment as necessary, using electronic testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Performed duties as a Radio Operator within the White Cell during a team Operational Readiness Evaluation Exercise. Successfully trained the Marines of Communication Platoon in the operation of Single Channel Radio Operations during multiple MOS training days. Examine and operate new equipment prior to installation in order to ensure that it performs properly. Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests to ensure that operations standards are met. • Completed various Correspondence Courses to include: Fundamentals of Leadership, SINGARS, HF/UHF Radio Equipment, TSEC/KY-99 Operations, Communication Security, AN/CYZ10 Operations, Antenna Construction and Properties, Staff Sergeant Distant Leadership Program. ● AN/PRC-117/150:HPW, 5k and 25k dedicated and undedicated Satcom
