Personal Statement


I am a highly motivated and ambitious person who has six years of marine experience working at sea and more

than ten years’ experience of shore based positions in Shipping industry. At this stage of my career I am

looking for a position in the field where I could contribute skills gained from my work experience and further

develop my knowledge.


Key Skills


Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills in person and by telephone, gained from work with people of different

backgrounds and experience in a range of settings: dealing with Port State Control, Agents, Superintendents

and Crew.


Flexibility

Being a seafarer I have quickly adapted to the new crew and environments. For the past years I have been

able to perform efficient and creative work.


Team Work

Team work skills practiced though being responsible for quality of work delivered.


Computer Skills

I have good computer skills and I am competent in Word, Excel, Internet and Email.


Languages

Good in English, Latvian and Russian (Mother tongue).

Qualification – Officer in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 GT or more.
