  • Preformed various duties while underway, tying barges, standing watch, line handling, sanding, use of a needle gun to remove rust from the deck, use of a wire wheel to clean up, shine the deck, and rust spots, worked in the galley while I prepared meals for the crew, pressure washed, use of an air hose, crane watched, started the engines, checked and refilled oil, used chemicals to cure rust spots, basic housekeeping, mixed, prepped, and painted the boat after sanding and wiping

  • Helper (shipyard work) Performed routine prep work aboard vessels in the shipyards, including: measuring, cutting, grinding, assisting with welding, paint prep and basic labor/ fitting/carrying.
