Maintenance and repair was performed with aid from the assistant engineer including radar systems, variable pitch propeller assemblies, flash evaporators and more. Responsible for filing various federal forms and daily logs while scheduling and recording periodic vendor work.
  • Supervised 8 deckhands and 9 processors on a vessel that worked 24 hours a day, coaching proper operation of machinery for a secure environment
  • Ensured safe travel of vessel by managing stores of over 40,000 gallons of diesel fuel and correcting inventory, contents, bunkering, transfer and discharge of sewage tanks, waste oil tanks, water tanks, ballast tanks and more
