Responsible for working under to ensure all machinery,
electrical and technical areas of the ocean tug boats are kept
clean and in good operating condition at all times. Ensure
preventative maintenance is carried out in all engineering
areas in order to reduce repair and maintenance costs and
eliminate down time. Carry out regular maintenance on main
engines and similar equipment, repair defective auxiliary
equipment, implementing and keeping current on a
preventative maintenance schedule. Keep detailed engine
room logs noting all failures, maintenance and repair done to
equipment. Maintain engine room stores and record usage of
parts and equipment. Carry out regular maintenance on main
