 Directed 2000 employee and contractors Maritime Security programs to include online presentations and graded
exams.
 Responsible for the development and implementation of Facility Security Plan (FSP) per Maritime Security Act
of 2002.
 Responsible for Facility loading and unloading operation per CFR regulations.
 Manage Maritime training program for 30 Security TWIC card holders.
 Manage Security equipment and systems, and their operational limitations to include over one hundred cameras
and 120 Door readers.
 Conducted initial indoctrination training and security presentations on a as needed basis and oversee annual
security refresher briefings for all security personnel.
 Conducted Maritime Drills every 90 days, and one annual Maritime Exercise per CFR regulations.
 Directed Emergency of Emergency Preparedness, response, and contingency planning.
 Managed onsite paper and electronic security records by providing ongoing maintenance and performing annual
records audit; ensured all security documentation and files maintained in accordance with CFR requirements’
 Executed Declarations of Security with Vessel Security Officers or their designated representatives
 Ensured the FSP is submitted to the cognizant Coast Guard of the Port for approval, as well as any plans to
change the facility infrastructure.
 Ensure proper notification to the Coast Guard of the Port for any matters involving a Breach of Security or
Transportation Security Incidents.
 Ensured that security equipment is properly operated, tested, calibrated, and maintained.
 Managed Security Screening process and training for Security personnel for ship crew members and authorized
visitors for boarding vessels at the facility port.
 Ensured all facility personnel were briefed in security conditions at the facility.
