Objective

• Looking for an administrative position in the Maritime Industry, Ocean Freight Industry, International Trade or Logistics in the New York City Area. I am not looking for any sales position at this time.

• Ability to work under hectic environment and under pressure.
• Able to perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Very high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2013/2015

• Performing Customer Service, advising customers and sales on the status of their shipments, receiving documentation from them to transport their shipment; answering phone calls, notifying brokers.
• Qualified as an HAZMAT Acceptance Auditor in September 2, 2010. My job is to check HAZMAT shipments and completing a checklist for each shipment to make sure the shipment is abiding by IATA Regulations and making sure it is safe for transport.
• Processing export shipments, which includes, generating bill of ladings, getting export documentation from the customer, arrange trucking, making house and master airway bills, doing AES, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Insurance, Track and Trace and Invoicing.

• Helped perform freight forwarding, shipping and office operations with the President of the Company.
• Reviewed and Updated Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
• Answered telephones, direct calls, and take messages
• Compiled, copied, and sorted, old files, shipping documentation and other paperwork.
