JOB PROFILE: -

  • Logistics – Marine Spreads – Mobilization of vessels – Tugs, OSV , Crew boats require for offshore project & Processing statutory clearances  - such as MOD, NSC, MOHA, SPL , Safety Audit clearance , Operator pass and various related permissions for Marine Spread working for ONGC - WO16 , B127 , BG Project , GSPC Projects.

 

  • Logistics – Port & Customs Operation – Logistics arrangement of all material clearance from Port & local customs & delivery onboard of barges / tugs at offshore locations. Good Supply chain arrangement between project team, procurement team, transporters & local agent. Daily coordination with the project  team  for mobilization of Material for offshore Projects . Professionally handling Port / Customs operation of Mumbai Port & Nhava Sheva – Rati Bunder port for vessel berthing , un-berthing , loading & Unloading , Vessel On / Off Hire Survey , arrangement of suitability survey - MWS , IRS , ABS & MMD survey of vessels, towing plan approval – Manned / Unmanned from IRS / MMD of vessel combination .   

 

  • Import & Export / Exim – Arrangement of timely Import , Export material to / from foreign port by air & sea for offshore project by paying applicable duty or under Essential Certificate Customs Clearance . Domestic Material movement  co ordination , Mumbai – Octroi  gate clearance  & arrange timely re export to the destination, co ordination with sea/ air agent & Exim Operation.

 

  • Supply Chain - Procurement: Arrangement of timely Procurement of Material, Spares parts as per Indent from Barge requirement. Bunker, Lube Oil, Fresh water, Provisions for our Barges / Tugs from our nominated Company Vender all over India for vessels at Offshore Field. Raising Indent & ensure timely delivery of material / services /repairs onboard. Close working of daily today Port / Customs operation. 

 

  • Corporate Operation -Offshore & Procurement – Management approval of requested material / service for vessels, vendor finalization, booking of purchase order in ORACLE system as per task code & annual budgeting, Evaluate of vendors invoices, update in the system .Implementation of the project cost tracking system to monitor and analyze budget, commitments actual cost and cost variances, Preparation of monthly reports such as Budget vs Actual,MD Report etc. Assisting in External Audit.

 

  • Crew Management Operations – Rotational arrangement of Mobilization & Demonization Marine & Project Crews - Sign on & Sign off, Dock Entry Passes- Indian/Foreigners, FRRO Registration, Temporary Landing Permit, Medical Treatment of crew etc.

JOB PROFILE:

Responsible for Handling the Job Functionalities in Corporate Office

 

  • Maintaining Book of Cost for all India Ports & fixing cost for i.e INLAND HALUAGE COST for Import & Export containers all over in India & Ports. See full cost recoveries for landside operation through THC, IHC & Fixing SLA – Service Level Agreement with authorised vender – CFS, CONCOR, PORT, TRANSPORTER, YARD OPERATERS ETC.  Vender evaluation.

 

  • Cost saving plan in agreement with General Manager – Operation & Drive the savings which would also includes spot opportunities for negotiations. Responsible for monthly rebate calculation & recovery from CFS Operator , Truckers & Empty Yard operator.

 

  • Evaluate invoices of Ports & other vendors, get it update in the system within stipulated time & accordingly arrange the payment.

 

  • Evaluate & analyze additional charges incurred at various ports & an Off-Dock CFSs. (Storage, Movement & handling charges etc.) to Customer Service department for recovery and prepare Additional Charges Report (SSR, POD Change etc.) on monthly basis for management reviewCo-ordinating for Import & Export operational activities across locations in India – All Ports and ICD’S

 

  • Deals with authorities i.e. Terminals, CONCOR, CFS & other Vender for any issues that would be benefiting to MOL.

 

 

Responsible for Handling the Job Functionalities in Terminal Operations -

  • Professionally handled Operations of Container, Pure Car Carriers & Break Bulk Vessels at Mumbai & Nhava Sheva Port.- Attend daily port berthing meeting & update the status to concern authorities. Closely monitor day to day vessel schedules and coordinate with Marketing Department, Vessel planners & vessel stevedores. Plan vessel berthing and stowage. After vessel sailing prepare & forward reports to concern department

 

  • Close Co ordination with concerned vessels for schedule instructions and berthing updates, vessel requirement, also informing required ETA for the vessels at JNPT/NSICT/GTI in-order to meet the priority berthing window agreement. Preparing Terminal Departure Reports on monthly basis and also assisting in other statistical data on vessel operations and cost management.

JOB PROFILE:

Responsible for Handling the Job Functionalities in Terminal Operations

 

 

  • Attending Port berthing daily meeting at JNPT/NSICT/GTI , timely husbanding of vessel. Overall supervision of Cargo Operations (loading + unloading activities) to achieve maximum work/berth productivity and enhance faster turnaround of vessels. Coordination with all concerned work force like supervisors, yard planners, ship planners and tower control for optimum utilization of the equipment and resources to achieve desired results.

 

  • Co ordination with all ICD Locations for timely pre alert of ICD export boxes to terminals & fast movement of Import ICD containers from JNPT/NSICT/GTI to all ICD Location with regular follow up with terminal & CONCOR.

 

  • Handled Customs related activities like Rotation no. IGM Filing, Port Clearance, Import Amendment,       Re working in terminal or CFS , Back to town containers etc.

 

  • Supervision of ICD Container Movement - Operations which include handling of containers arriving and departing on trains (ICD ) operational activities for import - export & ICD   movement. managed by Container Corporation of India. Co-ordination with neighbouring terminals (GTI & JNPT) and CONCOR for smooth operations and maintain the ICD pendency to minimum.

 

  • Assisting in preparation of berth plans in order to facilitate effective berth utilization and minimize berth idling time. Monitoring VRC, CRC payments to various ports.

 

  • Diligently following the Terminal Safety Procedures and alerting all staff to achieve safe working atmosphere and avoid possible incidents, accidents and damages. Arranging mock drills in the terminal for safety awareness and keeping the resources ready for any emergency situations.

 

  • Maintain proper records & evaluate JNPT/NSICT/GTI &MBPT port bills , CFS (D’NODE, TLPL, P’Conware, GDL) ,& CONCOR & making payment /Refund .

 

  • Preparing rebate file for getting rebate from Port / Concor .
