Marine Deck Officer (3rd Mate) with Chief Mate Licensed

   I am Larry Pettrick E. Polo from Philippines, 34 years old, CHIEF OFFICER licensed with experienced of 3 Officer since 2010. I have been an active mariner since 2006 in bulk and container vessel. I am also skilled welder with experienced of 6months including my training and have a SMAW NC2. I’m willing to become a marine surveyor or inspector because that my goal career in my life. Through my experienced as an Officer in the vessel, I am proud to say that my skill and quality of being a surveyor or inspector is already in my-self.

        I am 3rd Officer in international sea-going vessel ( BULK and CONTAINER ). My duties as an officer, I am in charge  as a  safety officer or navigational Officer depends on company job description. My duties as a Safety Officer I check every crew, that they aware in safety under standard International Safety Code (STCW), protection on ENVIRONMENT from any pollution under in description of MARINE POLLUTION annexes 123456, and the same time the safety of vessel itself with complete standard safety procedure under Safety Of Life At SEA and International Safety Management Code like lifesaving appliances, fire plan, firefighting equipment, etc. Being a Safety Officer I conduct drills for Oil Spill, Oil Transfer, Oil Pollution prevention, etc.(ISM). I am also experienced in Bunkering or Oil Transfer many time while I was 3rd Officer. As a Navigational Officer, I perform my duties to check all navigational equipment that they are working properly, up to date paper chart and making voyage passage because I've been a vessel that the organizational chart, that 3rd Officer is the one making voyage planning. I've been a mariner since 2006 and become Officer in Charge on 2008 and become licensed CHIEF MATE on 2013.
