 Professional Operations/Compliance Manager seeking position with a company of proven excellence that is committed to industry growth and success. Over ten years training/managerial, and auditing experience that has included marine operations, incident response/investigations and marine safety. Highly adaptable; readily learn new technical details, procedures, or terminology related to any project or assignment.

Organizational/coordinative and leadership abilities; expertise in motivation and team building developed through education, military and civilian experience. Plan and use time and resources effectively with focus on efficiency and accountability. Skilled in regulatory compliance, ISM, TVIB, OCIMF, SIRE and navigation assessments on towing vessels and tank barges.

Strong presentation and communication skills developed through extensive training presentations on a variety of topics and services to corporate officers and operational staff. Experienced in public speaking and seminar presentation; Skilled in establishing and maintaining rapport with vendors and customers. Detail-oriented; accurate in calculations used as bases for estimating and bidding projects, and in conducting vessel and machinery surveys.

Credentialed Mariner, 200 Ton Master, Mate Pilot of Towing Vessels, Tankerman DL, LG, Constantly strive to improve knowledge and skills, incident investigation, Root Cause Analysis (TapRoot), 5 whys. TVIB Lead Internal auditor, Lloyds register ISM lead auditor.

Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excel, Windows, HELM, SINEX, Marine CFO, Various Navigation software, Jespersen, Voyager.
