Description
OPERATIONS MANAGER, I’m responsible for the overall operation of the Company's Fleets of AHTS, PSV/OSV, DSV, Multicat, Cargo Badges (self-propel, Cargo, work/accommodation & Pipe laying Barges etc.) which comprises conventional and Dynamic Positioning (DP) Vessels.Follow up with Class status, Vessel marine compliance and OVID in compliance with OCIMF, IMCA, MLC, IMO and ISM, Interfacing with Security Depts. and addresses all Operation security matters.  Also, I approve resources, Personnel necessary for smooth/efficient operation and monitoring the performance of the Company's fleet. I provide Marine Technical Support and Advise to work sites. Also responsible for the safe, economical/Efficient running of the vessels. Acts as interface on all contractual, marine and nautical matters, and pro-actively develops Client relations. Follow up and Plan dry-dock scope and duration with minimal disruption to vessel operating schedule.Sources for cost effective and qualified dry-dock vendor. Ensures dockyard, ship builder and other parties involved in the dry-dock collectively and individually endorse the planned dry-dock duration schedule.

  • Sound knowledge of Shipping, Oil and Gas industry 23 years by 2019

  • High National Diploma(HND)
    Nautical Science & Navigation at Piraeus Maritime Training Academy, Greece
Certifications
  • Master Class 1 Reg.11/2
