Marine Operations Officer

I am writing to inquire about possible opening in your organization. I am interested in the position of an operations officer or any possible available position.

I am an innovative marine operations officer with 6yrs (+) experience, specialized in field and official duties, from pre-transaction to completion of every transaction. I have spent the last 6yrs developing my skills and I have a great deal of experience working in the in the maritime / Oil and Gas industry.

I also have knowledge in vessel dry docking in which I have attended 2 (nos) dry docking in Ghana as a junior superintendent / company representative.

I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. Am very flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I have good communication skill, teamwork and enthusiasm.

Judging from my job experiences i have gained over the years, I believe I have the perfect background and ready for new opportunities and job.

My key area of expertise includes, but not limited to the following:

• Monitoring day to day activities of vessels (Voyage planning, technical performances, fuel and lube cargo loading, cargo discharging,  inspections)
• Boarding officer (Supercargo) - General supervision and support to crew during cargo operations onboard vessels.
• Collate, Prepare and tabulate daily bunkers (IFO & MGO) consumption and fresh water consumption of vessels.
• Collating monthly and yearly cargo loadings. (Quantity, load port / disport)
• Preparing of updates and updating charterers on timely basic.
• Preparation of laytime report after every transaction.
• Vessel inspections and sea trials.
• Collating monthly and yearly technical planning maintenance, Procurement of ship spares, consumable engine, deck and bridge materials parts and taking inventory of supply.
• Dry docking supervisions
