Description

An Algerian Marine Surveyor and ISM/ISPS Auditor with 20 years experience, presently working as Marine technical manager in charge of training, surveying and developping  . Previously I was employed by Bureau Veritas and Germanischer Lloyd; gaining experience in ships surveying and auditing, in supervision of works and consultancy.

                                                

MAIN EXPERIENCE

-                      March 2011 up to date:  Marine Surveyor & Consultant in Algeria (authorization from Algerian court and insurance); ISM/ISPS Auditor as freelance Auditor.

Liberoservices Greece Associated Lead Auditor.

-                      January 2008 to February 2011: Marine Surveyor and ISM/ISPS Auditor at Germanischer Lloyd  Dubai (UAE) .

-                      June 2004 up to December 2007: Marine Surveyor and ISM/ISPS Auditor at Bureau Veritas  Dubai  (UAE), Key Account Manager (taking care of major BV clients)

-                      May 1995 to March 2004: Marine Surveyor at a bureau of technical expertise in Oran (Algeria) : expertise for the account of insurance and court, supervision of repair of non classed ships of local owners.

-                      March 1990 to January 1995: Marine Surveyor at Bureau Veritas  Algiers & Oran (Algeria) mainly dealing with LNG fleet of a National Owner.

-                      June 1989 to March 1990 : Training at BV training center in Nantes.

-                      September 1986 to May 1989:  First Engineer on board both cargo ships & oil tankers .

-                      September 1980 to September 1985: Marine Engineer on board oil tankers in an Algerian Transport Company  including 6 months as Cadet Engineer on board an LNG carrier.
