US Coast Guard Master's with Sailing Endorsement

Independent Management Consultant

Self - employed and fairly independent, I have my own sailboat in New Hampshire. Sailing a custom built cutter, based on a commercially built sloop, with a sail plan I designed. Calling the Gulf of Maine and Massachusetts Bay his home waters. Intends to run charter boats as an extension to his professional life, to extend the sailing season, or full-time starting 2020.

I am available, also on short notice, for weeks or month long charters, sailing or boating lessons, and boat deliveries, also as a relief captain or mate.

Core Qualifications

  • USGC Merchant Mariners Credential-100T (currently 25T limit)

  • TWIC Transportation Workers Identification Credentials

  • Driver's License

  • SCUBA certified, Dive Master (pending)

  • United States work authorization

  • Life-long sailor, 40+ years of experience sailing catamarans and mono-hulls up to 15 t / 45 ft

  • Life-long boat owner of sailing boats, motorboats and sailing yachts

  • Owner-operator of a dive boat operating out of New Hampshire

  • Current CPR, First Aid, O2-administration, medical

  • Balearic Sea 2 seasons, Adriatic Sea 10 seasons, Tyrrhenian Sea 2 seasons, Baltic Sea 1 season, North Sea 1 season, Gulf of Maine 13 seasons, Florida Keys 1 season, British Virgin Islands 1 season

  • Vast experience navigating coastal waters and inland lakes and rivers in Europe and North America, also under harsh conditions
