Shoreside Operations
Description
  • Overall in charge and command of vessel.
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of vessel.
  • Exercise control of safe navigation of the vessel in order to ensure that all navigation operations are conducted in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Vessel and crew preparation for Port Authority.
  • Responsible for carrying out the vessel's surveys as well as other regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Dry docking.
  • Maintain vessel operation and maintenance logs.
  • Direct Supervises the Mate, Officers and Crew members.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Organizations.
  • Supervise offload Tanker mooring operations and all aspects of Cargo offload operations.
  • Responsible to implement and maintain the ship security, safety, health and environmental policies
  • Inspects all areas of the vessel for unsafe conditions, perform accident investigations, file accident investigations.
  • Coach and Train crew members and assist in their professional development.
  • Budget and cost control.
  • Crew and officers wage.
