DETAILS FOR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and understand the requirement of the project Coating & Insulation Specifications, ITPs, QCPs, MS etc.

  • Inspection & Testing of the in progress work to ensure compliance with the project specification requirements.

  • Ensure effective implementation of ITPs or ITRs by the contractor and client attendance at witness and/or hold points.

  • To Review regularly Quality Records, Contractor’s Procedures, Contracts and Estimation Documents for the Painting/Coating, Insulation requirements.

  • To provide technical supports to company and contractors QC personnel as required.

  • Liaison with others Department Heads, Customers, and the Third Parties on the Coating & Insulation matters.

  • Arrange with Subcontractor for the Applicator Qualification Trade Test and Painting System Qualification.

  • Ensure all personnel employed are Skilled and passed the Qualification Test and performing proper surface preparation, Coating Application and Insulation Installation.

  • Reviews and assesses Contractor/Subcontractor QA/QC Plans and Procedures including Test/Inspection results.

  • Ensure contractor/subcontractor have relevant, up-to-date Codes, Standards, Specs, and Contract documents.

  • Ensure all the Testing Equipments functioning properly and have Valid Calibration.

  • Preparing Disposition Plan for any Non Conformances occurred during ongoing works and Technical Support in order to reply Site Technical Queries.

  • Promotes Safety awareness and safe performance among Production group, including Contractor personnel.

  • Interfaces with outside entities such as consultants, contractors, vendors and accreditation and certification bodies to assess quality products and systems.

  • Witness and monitor Contractor/Subcontractor site surveillance QA/QC activities.

  • Conversant with Inspection Techniques such as Surface Cleanliness/Profile check, Soluble Salt Test, WFT & DFT Checks, Adhesion test, MEK Test, Holiday Detection Test etc... As per the industry standards.

  • Prepare punch list items, ensuring they are being resolved according to the turn over system.

  • Overseeing the Development of the Blasting, Painting and Insulation Systems Integrating Quality, Occupational Health/Safety and Environmental requirements.
