QAQC Coordinator/ Hull & Outfitting Inspector

Having approximately six years of continued inspection experiences in the shipbuilding & Offshore Industries, and Mechanical Structures. I was deeply involved/ focussed on Quality Management and QAQC Activities involving fabrication of engineering structures.

     Preparation of all quality control procedures, work instructions, ITP prior to project commencement.  Prepare WPS/ WPQR, NDT procedures, welder list, NDT operator list with including approval certificates.  Prepare Welding Map, NDT Plan.  Support NDT level II personnel to carry out NDT (PT/MT/UT) and making NDT reports with regards to on-site issues.  Perform and arrange for material incoming inspection and testing if necessary.  Attend internal/ final inspection and coordination of all inspection requirements with Class/ Owner for hull/ outfitting items such as:  Block assembly, block pre-erection, block erection for fit-up, dimensional measuring, welding & structural inspection, testing of watertight compartments.  Outfitting structures: Hand rail, winch, chain compressors, Life boat/ Rescue boat Davit, foundations, etc.  Accommodation: for fabrication, insulation installation, the integrity of panels, furniture, etc.  Life Saving Appliances for demonstration of life boat, rescue boat, accommodation & pilot ladders and other mean of safety equipment arrangement.  Suggest correction method with regards to quality deficiencies of product.  Feedback Non-Conformance to QAQC manager and issue NCR.  Tracking & reviewing inspection reports and presenting weekly report to QA/QC manager.  Promote the quality consciousness among production workers and staffs.  Discuss with Class/ Owner with regards to quality issue on project.  Manage all QC activities to ensure that they are carried out smoothly.
