SOW:  Membrane repair in all the four cargo tanks for the primary and secondary barrier which involves replacement of stainless steel membrane and joining by a special fusion welding technique which has to be led under the supervision of GTT (patent holder of the cargo tank design) and many other parties. Other major work scope is the structural repairs in tanks and dry docking surveys.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviewing the Scope of Work (SOW) and Responsible for implementing work procedure, method statement, and project quality plan as per the class regulations and project specification.
  • Preparing the ITP and NDT plan according to the work scope and ensuring the production departments are delivering the work according the plan.
  • Conduct material receiving inspections for the cargo tank materials with class and client and reviewing the material test certificates.
  • Monitoring all stages of MARK III Type cargo tank repair and prepared daily reports.
  • Witnessing the quality testing like vacuum box test, Dye penetrant test, helium test and tank integrity test like the global tests.
  • Coordinate class, GTT and client inspection as per project inspection test plan (ITP).
