Job description:

  • Full knowledge and familiar with all communication equipments, holding GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System) VHF, Radio Telex, and INMARSAT Terminal B& Mini M for telephone, Fax, Telex and Data Service Helicopter Radio/Helicopter landing Operation
  • In addition to full communication with marine vessels from time to time, for getting the present location using the latitude and longitude, ROB- remaining On Board and POB-Personal On board.
  • Communicating with supply vessels/tug/anchor handling tug regarding movements/supply run.
  • Communicate with helicopter pilot by air craft radio, helipad radio. Operator and onboard helicopter landing officer (HLO) regarding the arrival and departure timings (ETA, ETD) and landing approval.
  • Instructing all vessels in the field about their movements.
  • Coordinate and scheduling the supply vessels plan with onshore logistics department prepare the helicopter passenger/freight manifest and book the seats for outgoing personnel.
  • Maintain log for daily Work Progress.
  • Co-ordinate with clients for sending /receiving project document a daily reports by using e-mails and fax system.
  • And make full preparation of accommodations on barge senior and junior arrangements. Moreover personnel movements ,mail records , boarding list, security pass to the oil field, barge system preparations
  • Make all communications with helicopter  pilot to the sign in and sign out personal from barge to platforms by air craft receiver system , make sure to provide the landing clearance on our helicopter base .
  • Communicate with oil field control tower to provide and granted the clearance to our marine spread vessel as daily basis as well with marine control (MC CONTROL)
  • Communicate with Mussafah port and Zayed port to provide the inward clearance and outward clearance for our barges and marine spread as daily basis to sail out for smooth offshore operational projects
  • Make the arrangements to provide the fuel and fresh water at NPCC jetty for all barges and boats and send the daily consumption and remaining on board every 24 hours
  • Maintain the daily progress reports , GMDSS logbook  and vessel movements daily reports
  • Maintain barges , ships and boats particulars for smooth operational inward and outward clearance , co-ordinate with pilot and port officer to avoid any delay
