Vessel Operations
Description

Preparation, sending and distributing faxes, telexes. Operate SSB/VHF/UHF Radio communications, as and when required. Preparations all summary of communications every month and send to base. Checking and maintenance of Radio equipment. Maintenance of personnel time sheets. Maintenance of personnel movement log. Allocation of Rooms/Beds to Barge personnel. Keep all passport and other documents in safe custody. Keep and update Radio Certificates file. To maintain the technical library containing all relevant documents/procedures/manuals/quality/safety documents. To maintain/monitor messing/catering facilities. In charge Air to ground Radio communication. Booking all sign off personnel.

Safety Officer:

Conducts safety awareness activities within the immediate area of responsibility. In charge of monitoring the proper use of personal protective equipment. Identifies job hazards and regulate necessary controls. Asses and prevent work related accident and formulate preventive measures. Develop and promote relevant safety procedures applicable to the company. Ensure proper handling of materials and maintenance of equipment.Conducting in house training orientation and safety awareness to compliance to health and safety program. Conduct tool box meeting.
