Objective


To utilize my Second Mate’s Unlimited Tonnage License/1600-ton Master’s License developing more knowledge and experience while fluently operating in the industry of Marine Transportation.


Experience


Deep Sea:

August – October 2006 Sealift Incorporated Houston, TX - West Africa

3rd Mate; 61 Days abaoard a 605’ Steam-Freight Break Bulk Ship. Primary safety officer onboard in charge of everything safety related. Stood navigational watches daily while underway at sea, also the mate in port on duty in charge of overseeing and expediting the cargo operations.

February – May 2007 Sealift Incorporated Houston,TX – East Africa

• 3rd Mate; 83 Days aboard a 570’ Bulk Carrier. Same duties described as prior.

June – October 2007 Sealift Incorporated Houston,TX – East Africa – Europe

• 3rd Mate; 96 Days aboard a 605’ Steam-Frieght Break Bulk Ship. Same duties described as prior.

January – April 2008 Sealift Incorporated Houston,TX-East Africa-Pakistan-Europe-West Afrcia-Panama

• 3rd Mate; 106 Days aboard a 605’ Steam-Freight Break Bulk Ship. Same duties described as prior.

June - September 2008 Sealift Incorporated Sunny Point, NC – Crete – Kuwait – Qatar – UAE

• 3rd Mate; 74 Days aboard a 512’ Twin Diesel Heavy-lift/Container ship. Same duties as described prior.

September 7th - September 15th 2009 T.O.T.E. Incorporated Tacoma, Washington

• 2nd Mate; 08 Days aboard a 790’ RO/RO (container) Steam Plant ship. Navigational/Security Officer.

October 22nd – Decmeber 30th 2009 A.R.C. (Interocean American Shipping) Beaumont, TX-Crete-Kuwait-Belgium

• 2nd Mate; 70 Days aboard a 697’ RO/RO (Car Carrier) Slow Speed Diesel ship. Navigational/Security Office

March 2nd – March 30th 2010 A.R.C. (Crowley Technical Management) Charleston, Beaumont, Savannah, Baltimore

• 2nd Mate; 28 Days aboard a 697’ RO/RO (Car Carrier) Slow Speed Diesel ship. Navigational/Security Office

May 2005 – Present Seaport yacht Services Yacht Delivery Captain

• Captain for multiple deliveries around Florida, East Coast US. Loadings for Yacht Path Int’l.

• Multiple Deliveries as Captain to the Bahamas Islands, down the US Eastern Seaboard Coast, and all over Florida.

Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage/100-Ton Masters USCG License

Winter 2003, 2004, and 2006

Cadet Sea Terms aboard the T.S. EMPIRE STATE and T.S. ENTERPRISE Gained general knowledge of steam plant operations. Managed and participated in watches, dealt with hands on and competent phases of Training, and took part in shipboard maintenance. Contributed to the planning, execution, and monitoring phases of the voyage plan. Maintained anchor watches and assisted in Fire and Boat drills.

• Basic Safety, First Aid/CPR, Lifeboat/Survival Training, N.A.U.I. Advanced Nitrox Scuba Diver
