2014–Current – Ground Segment Manager and Payload Developer - SkyeSense Project, JAMSS America Incorporated (JAI), Houston, TX

  • Co-developed, built, and launched a prototype hardware to the International Space Station called GLASS - GLobal AIS on Space Station.   • Reviewed payload requirements and worked with vendors to implement design elements to improve product capabilities.

  • Work directly with NASA Space Station mission management, where I represented the Japanese space agency (JAXA) for technical and mission planning matters, addressed NASA concerns, and presented JAXA’s position on issues.

  • Authored several white papers on NASA’s Space Shuttle close-call awareness program.

  • Conducted simulation training at Johnson Space Center to ensure compatibility of Japanese hardware on the International Space Station.
