Senior Auditor/Inspector
  • Conducting assessments and surveys to evaluate the conditions of critical equipment and provide in-depth support and advice to improve and rectify key areas on various MODU and Land Rigs. Ensuring that all systems comply with the current applicable standards – subject to working locations. Carrying out corresponding reviews on all maintenance records/PM systems and certification to ensure that equipment is being maintained and that they are fit for the purpose intended.
  • Conduct inspection/audit to IADC list on various UDS, Semi Subs and Jack Ups for new campaigns. Ensure all major components for drilling, marine and subsea match current IADC list and report same.
  • Conduct initial drops audits and providing an assessment of non-compliant/unsafe areas of the Derrick and surrounding at height areas. Manufacture Drops picture book.
  • Contract independent 3 party - audits and inspections to Australian and International Standards for DROPS, height safety and rigging equipment
  • Direct contract clients – Chevron, OSL PNG, Ensign Energy International, WDI, Hunt Energy, Saxon Drilling, Century Drilling Etc
  • Freelance clients - K2 Velosi, RIS, OAS and HRI.
  • On site Supervision of load testing & NDT and setting up QA/QC docs of drill rigs and associated equipment for movement by helicopter.
  • Extensive work around Australia, PNG, Singapore, Indonesia, West Africa, GOM and Norway but based in the Gold Coast, Australia.
  • Writing of work procedures and SOPS where required.
  • Overhead crane installation, inspection, repair and load testing.
  • Contract independent 3 party - auditing of various systems on Land Rigs including PM systems.
  • Contract independent 3 party - auditing of various systems on MODU including PM systems.
  • Supervision of MODU semi and annual inspections on lifting/rigging equipment.
  • On site overseas load testing of drill rigs and associated equipment for movement by helicopter.
  • Manage the work activities and movement of rig crews, inspection personnel, NDT personnel, Trades Assistants and mobile plant for new build Rig Mud Systems and pre load out for Heli-Fly rigs.
  • Build and manage certification packages incorporating all engineering drawings, material certificates, NDT certificates and load test certificates.
