I am a Marine Engineer who has experience more than ten (10) years in various sea going vessels. (Up to rank Chief Engineer)
I have been followed four (4) yearsHigher National Diploma in mechanical Marine Engineering.
I worked as a engineering trainee in Colombo Dockyard two and half (2 1/2) years.
Also worked as a engineering trainee in Sri Lanka Port Authority in one and half (1 1/2) years.I worked as a chief engineer in VETORIX MARINE ENGINEERING hamriyah free zone UAE.(ship building & ship repair)
Currently I'm working as a Ship Repair Mechanical Engineer in INTEROCEAN Ship Repair LLC - Dubai Maritime City. Specially handling the main engine and A/E major overhauling as well as mechanical related items onboard.
So, now I hope to finding job opportunity in Cyprus, Oman, Turkey, Singapore Ship Repair and Shipbuilding industry.
I have experience in overhauling and repair various type of engines, generators, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, boilers, separators, pipe lines, maintain PMS knowledge and good knowledge about all spares, knowledge of IMO regulations MARPOL SOLAS regulations and ISM. Ability to fault finding and preventive maintenance.Ability to handle people's also guide other engineers and knowledge of vessel fire fighting systems and arrange fire drills. Good knowledge of technical report writing and read technical drawings,specifications.
