Job Responsibilities

 

 Manage and direct ship repair projects and conversion works as per drawings and specifications.

 Conduct and daily VSCC meeting on hot-works onboard ships and in compatible job onboard to ensure safety of personal and property are not endangered.

 Construction /conversion /repairs projects.

 Meet repair / refit schedule by planning, monitoring project’ critical path cost control and execution.

 Develop good working relationship with customer and maintaining team work showing high interests.

 Responsible for site coordination and supervision work to ensure that relevant operations are executed in the highest work quality & safety standards while meeting customers’ contractual expectation, specification and budget.

 Resolve daily conflicts at ground level issues and monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible job affecting master schedule whenever required.

 Report on work progress, material status, billing/costing and performance tracking.

 Provide advice and recommendations to management/production on project processes / activities to enhance productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.

 Capture additional works and raise work list and provide information to commercial department for more competitive pricing.

Job Responsibilities.

 

Site construction of compressor station (oil & gas), was over all in-charge for erection of static and rotary equipments. PEB’s erection as per AISC & ASME standard with concrete foundations and anchor bolts alignment as per drawings and specifications, calculation of BOQ’s, supervision of pipe layouts for gas transportation as per GA drawings, supervision of civil foundations execution and monitoring erection activities, assisting site in-charge for all construction activities in the site including follow ups of the vendors, man power / resources, pigging & hydro testing of pipes as per specifications, coatings and thickness measurements, surface preparations as per SA 2.5 standards, attending meetings and aiming for achieving targets in time, certifying the vendor’s job completion reports.

 

 Arrange, Participate in Project Kick-off meeting, Contract Review, Design and Model reviews and facilitate completion of the Design and Engineering work.

 Arrange design inputs from Client, other agencies for carrying out engineering activities.

 Participate in the Planning and Scheduling of engineering activity.

 Monitor the Engineering progress, address shortfalls, develop recovery plans and ensure plans made are implemented.

 Ensure that Engineering deliverables generated by the Engineering team meet the Project requirements in terms of technical content and follow Project specific procedures.

 Ensure participation of the Engineering team members in Project Engineering Reviews and assist resolution of any issues arising out of the same.

 Conduct regular Project Review meetings and record, circulate all minutes as per project needs.

 Ensure that Interface items between disciplines maintained.

 Identify with the Engineering team potential areas of variation that may arise during the course of engineering and communicate the same to the project management team to ensure its non -occurrence or record changes in scope.

 Facilitate project as well as discipline Audits and ensure QA activities are carried out on the project.

 Act as the interface between the Engineering team and the Project Management team and ensure smooth transfer of information between the two.

Worked as 3rd party country manager with a team of qualified engineers for QA/QC, inspection of proto’s (telecom towers) all over India (vendors)and submitting final reports to the clients of corporate sectors with respect to Bureu of Indian standards/ specifications and as per GA drawings including civil foundations. Worked as a site engineer and was overall in-charge for executing telecom tower’s civil foundations construction availability / fabrication/ erection cum inspection of telecom towers in vendor’s fabrication yard and erection at sites. Inspection of RF cabling, issuing of MIN’s, vertical stability checks, preparing check lists (inspection test plans), checking foundation readiness with anchor bolts alignments as per drawings, certifying job completion reports of vendors. Extensive traveling to sites completed approx. 950 sites all over Punjab.
